Saputo is committed to supporting its employees and the
communities where they work, live and play. In alignment with our
Promise, this program is designed to provide funding to support
employee's engagement to their communities.
This program aims to provide financial contributions or
product donations to enable our employees to strengthen their
relationship with their community, to encourage them to further
support organizations where they volunteer.
With this program, Saputo wishes to support employees in the
causes they care about and are personally involved in.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
• The program is open
to all Saputo permanent employees.
• Employees must be
actively involved with the cause for which they are submitting a
donation request, which means donate personal time or money, or be
a beneficiary.
• The request must be
used to support a registered non-profit organization or project
that have a social purpose and a positive impact in their
community.
• Projects must be
rolled out in the employee's assigned country workplace.
EXAMPLES OF ACCEPTABLE DONATIONS
• A financial
contribution to support a fundraiser for a non-profit.
Examples:
- Finance a new playground
- Finance a special event or program for a senior
center
- Finance social services at a women's shelter
- Marathon to benefit a hospital foundation
• A financial
contribution to purchase school material, sports equipment, basic
goods, etc. to support a charity.
• A financial
contribution to a nonprofit for which an employee is a beneficiary
(Cancer foundation, Ronald McDonald House, Autism Spectrum disorder
org., etc.)
• Product donations
for Christmas baskets, spaghetti dinner, breakfast clubs, etc.
EXCLUSIONS
Please note that any request made less than 4 weeks before
the event or project start date will be automatically refused. We
do not provide support for:
• Projects or
organizations that are personal, religious or political in nature.
• Event/access fees,
accommodation, merchandising, running costs
• Projects with an
entertainment purpose or a for-profit purpose.
• Student faculty
projects.
• Organizations that discriminate by
race, colour, age, gender, religious creed, sexual orientation,
etc.
• Organizations or projects that could
conflict with Saputo's values, interests or reputation.
• Organizations that have a compromising
history or a history of financial misconduct.

form (below) will be considered. Please allow 4-8 weeks for the
evaluation of your request to be completed.
